This backyard was functional before, better than many. Our clients were ready for a change starting with the biggest feature of the yard: a dry stacked flagstone retaining wall, 50' long and almost 4' tall that was showing signs of structural failure. We removed and rebuilt the wall, mortar setting it from behind and salvaging much of the original material, and added some terracing to give a nestled, garden feel to the new patio. A few custom trellis panels with pergola accents created defined areas which completed this yard and provided ultimate privacy for my new favorite backyard oasis.
